Finally.
The always-mad-summer season has slowed down, and is coming to a halt.
Never a better time, for we all need a break after weeks and weeks of going around! (I know
all me colleagues are gonna agree with me on this, this year we had more scheduled charters
than before!)
The only thing that's disadvantageous about this is... winter will come a-knocking soon.
As it is, the nights have been cold and windy for the past week or so. And dark skies are
already clouding the normally lovely summer afternoons.
Courtesy of Mummy in Singapore, I know the monsoon season has already started there too.
(She's been complaining she can't go to the pool for her normal swimfest with Ayah nowadays!!
Chet org tua dua tu... Nak romantic ajer. Heh)
The only difference then would the the temperatures. Which makes ALL the difference.
At home, I'd probably be guessing a low of what.. 25deg? Here it can go down to less than
10deg during winter... and for someone like me, who can stand all the aircon at home,
Winter leaves me shivering and constantly indoors.
Betul!!!
I remember last year's winter, we were in Germany (which is even worse than France,
i swear. I had on at least 6 pieces of clothings ( not including innerwear okay.. everyday,
and I was still shivering my teeth out lah! The hotwater in the bathtub turns cold in
less than 10mins! It was a harsh white winter, probably the coldest i have
ever experienced so far, for definite.
When we went out, everyone was huddled and hugging each other.. mcm a group of
lesbos and gays.
Did we care?
Not at all,
(asalkan dapat even a decent amount of heat from the next person enough already
horkay...)
SO yes, I can't wait to go home. Even if it basically means rain for the whole time
I am at home.
At least its not 10deg out.
Nak balik!!!!
Now, if only the superiors would read me blog, and take pity on this particular
Asian who would absolutely just probably maybe be more thank thankful
and less of a whiner if they would approve of me leave request?
Awww... C'mon.
