Arguments.
I do hate arguments.
Not because I am always in the wrong - give me more credit than that alright??
I do hate arguments, even if I AM in the right.
I do hate arguments whether i am part of it, or whether i am not, and am just the onlooker.
I do. Truly. Never did like it. N-E-V-E-R.
I used to shy away from EVERY, make that ANY arguments in school.
I would even give up any discussion and admit defeat if i knew or felt that it would
lead to an argument - unless it was with any of my brothers, of course.
Brothers were born to be argued with. I swear. ask God.
Cowardice, you could say.
Being selfless, would be a better word eh?
There's just a feeling which is not quite right that hovers about after the argument,
and even when you and whoever you are arguing with have set matters straight -
that not-quite-right feeling still lingers for some time.. which then does make it just
a tad bit awkward to start or have a normal, non-argumentative conversation after.
don't you all think so????
hell, i know for sure some of you would agree with me - don't ARGUE!
Enough on this argumentative subject, i will leave you with this related quote i so dig.
Even if it was quoted off an American.
:)
"When I'm getting ready to reason with a man, I spend one-third of my time thinking
about myself and what I am going to say -- and two-thirds thinking about him
and what he is going to say."
- Abraham Lincoln.
See, now you know how the Americans lay out their arguments on issues, thus having their way with EVERYTHING.
tsk, tsk.
