is my 2nd bro. I call him Ajeeb.
as you all know there is always the 'black sheep' in any family. for mine, that's me. like duh.
BUT, if there ever was a 'white sheep' category, Ajeeb wins it, hands down.
Mommy's favourite - Enough said.
He's the brains, he prays, he's the absolute 'near-perfect' son. Nothing perfect exists, see, but he comes real close. Hence, near-perfect.
No smokes, no drinks. That enough proof already?
1 year 3 months separates both of us - me n him. that, and about 20cm of height, no less. He used the be the one i bullied when we were toddlers.
However, i always got the cane because of him too, so fair deal?
We are not really that close, Ajeeb and I - could be due to our close gap in age therefore vying for attention, school grades, and everything together when we were growin up, it also doesn't help that we are complete polar opposites, him being the nicer, quieter one - altho i know he loves me a fair deal (I'm their ONLY sister, mind you), he just shows it discreetly, in his own lil ways. So now he's all grown up, has a long-time girlfriend and taking responsibilities his way, I am a happy sister.
A proud, happy sister.
Even if he does have complete use of my car at home all the time. Even if he does always leave Mother by herself at home who in turn annoys me with her mass-texting-because-she-has-no-one-else-to-annoy.
this next one... ah, this one!
is the artistic, more vocal, more stubbornly annoying one. he is also the 'spoilt brat' - there's one in every family see, for mine, its him. he is also the one that gets into constant sarcasm-riddled verbal fights with Mom, which then warrants for me to be called to settle their 'issues'.
Funny eh, considering the fact that I am thousands of miles away from home??? And then i get nagged at for my high mobile-phone usage. *shakes head*
he is also the apple of my eye, being 8 years younger than me, and the youngest in the family.
this pic below, that's him in lead.
in a known showcase, no less. he's appeared in the local papers i don't know how many times. all for the right reasons, mind you. i go out with him and get stopped every half hour by people who know and want to chat with him - some of whom he doesn't even remember knowing!
annoying, yes?
altho i do appreciate relatives tellin me he's picked up a thing or 2 from me - i completely agree. heh.
i also think he's done better than me. being hand-picked for an exchange at university in Aussieland IS something, you know.
(well, it is something to my pockets, that's for sure)
proud, i am. a proud, proud sister.
even if he does ask me for a different camera every month. even if he does empty my pocket quicker than lightning sometimes. even if he does shoot me at various effing angles in various locations at various times of the day - sometimes even asking me to stop walking n smile - in mid-stride!! Practice, he calls it. i don't mind cos it makes me feel like a superstar.
:)
