these, and about 5 other similarly-nice decorated items including 2 hampers (full of chockies and more chockies, which i SOOOO hid from all the kids that were here on the day itself and devoured ALL later, of course, clever me) came with the exchange on the same day. so pretty, aren't they, these gifts? they look so inviting, i swear if the gift-wraps and decoratives were edible I would have eaten those first. Mind you, it of course added to the whole cost of the engagement. Not bad Ajeeb, considering your trying-to-save-for-marriage-stance you have been so keeping to for the past year or so, you've actually instead, managed to blow at least a couple of thousands out the window with the engagement costs HAHA. so much for saving!
let's now see you freak out after this and start eating at home instead of outside, and spend your time watching pirated DVDs at home instead of movies at the cinema.
:)
Mummy, NO engagements for me OKAY, let's make this clear, a simple exchange of a nice - make that REALLY nice ring would do just fine when my turn comes, thank you. You can also leave out the party, the heavy makeup and change of costumes and even the nosy relatives, half of whom I barely haven't even met in the past years.
