A close to 3 hour drive (again as yours truly was Chief Navigator so don't be thinking we be getting anywhere so easily....DUH) to Montpellier spent watching the beautiful landscapes and... trying not to fall asleep. heh.
Montpellier itself is a nice university town (the boys had the time of their weekend checking out asses, and more young asses in the central square lah, tsk!!!) with much of the activities centred on the main square, which had nice flea markets and loads and loads of small shops seeling what-nots. We went on the perfect day - Saturday so thats a plus point. It was sunny, bustling with people and families with kids, and everything else. A nice walkabout and then the drive back. Which thankfully took just half the time we took to get there cos everyone else was already more than hungry!
Dinner was another story altogether. Imagine 9 people crammed at 1 table with 9x10 fingers dipping themselves into crab, prawn and mussels. Ooooohhhwhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I was the last one to leave the table, so that must have been something, yes?
Kudos to my 2 homeboy Chefs for the delicious spread (even if it took them more than an hour with Willyboy walking to and fro the kitchen at least 8 times altogether.... And to the rest of you who came with dessert and who k-i-n-d-l-y helped finished up everything so there wasn't really much cleaning to do!!
