I'd personally thought it be another one of those tragedic plots... ya know, Mum lose child and falls
into depression and drinks and dies in a car accident herself? Or maybe thats just my interpretation
of it.
On the depression part - I got it right. But the plot thickens, so to say. The myriad of emotions that
engulfs a family after a death, and finding that love (even the hidden ones) prevail after all that happens -
how come this French affair had a happy ending, I was asking myself repeatedly, for I'd braced myself up
for the monotony of a separation!
And I was sooooooooo engrossed in reading it, I spent the most part of my commute to & from school,
and then even whilst I waied for the bath to warm up - in the bathroom, mind you... and after the
rushed bath, the next 3 hours trying to lap it all up....
And now here I am, giving it a good rave - which I never expected to, if 1st read-throughs are anything
to go by.
