An influx of assignments, exams and quizzes have made me the (un)social butterfly.
I am constantly forgetting things that I've read through just minutes ago, and this could be the first
signs of dementia. But I am pleased to note that I think I've managed to do well for the papers so far,
even with the ADDED burden of spending more time on revising.
I am still looking at that calendar on the wall each night before I go to bed, and crossing out the day
that's just ended. Which makes it one more down. Last night, it was 2 months 11 days more to go.
This is hopeful, by the way. I keep asking Hubs when he's coming home (much to his annoyance).
He might disown me the next time I ask. The other night we went to have coffee @ T2, and I so so
so wished I saw his face amongst all the travellers coming home.
I'll have to wait.
And, it'll be our 5th month anniversary in 3 days' time.
Just spoke to my SIL-to-be earlier and reminded her that its 2 months, 15 days more to go before
our BIG day. or THEIR big day to be exact, and me and Hubz 'guest' appearance. Lucky for me tho,
this event is 85% planned by Ajeeb, with me only needing to contribute my part of the $.
suits me though, cos frankly, I truly can't find the time to juggle everything like I did last October.
and I haven't even started on my invite list yet. I'm pretty much sure it would have more names
than I've been alloted.
Going back to our house (I actually do miss it!!) this coming weekend.... I look forward to a getaway
from the daily train/bus commutes, the hectic city life, and the mundane 4 walls in my room.
I just hope my bestie does not pop this weekend. Lil Z must wait for me!!!
I'm taking to reading novels these days (for lack of bedroom activities to do @ night, LOL).
I think over the past couple of months, I must have been @ the library each week, returning and
borrowing more books. I also think if there was ever an award for the most books read in a month, I
would win it hands down. My mum tells me I'm boring, the CHEEK!
ohhhhhhhhhh, speaking of which. was trying to help Reza straighten his fringe (yes he still spots
the '80s Aaron Kwok floppy fringe-do) and cos' we had some leftovers of the hair relaxer cream, we
also put some on the roots of my Mum's almost-impossibly stubborn-wavy hair. Turns out, the
cream relaxer has hydrogen peroxide amongst its contents, and that, along with the henna hair dye
I just applied on her yesternight (for the whites), did more than just straighten. It made her hair
brown.ish.
Like the teenager-next-door. To our amusement of course, Reza was only to happy to laugh his
big mouth off. I laughed till I had hiccups.
Needless to say, from now on, I am banned from ever touching her hair again.
My updates for now.
Going back to the book, and waiting for my faraway knight to call.
