In another lying-on-the-bed-doing-nothing episode, I realised.
When Ramadhan started, I griped incessantly about being without the husband on our first Eid as husband and wife. I griped to myself, to Mummy, to my friends, on here, and even on FB! Looking back, I must have sound like a broken record. My bad.
In a very lucky twist of circumstances (or, I shall consider this our silver lining in our clouds), something which was totally unplanned for, Hubby got home nearly a week ago and we will spend Eid with his family first, and then mine, at a later date. The most important thing though - that Hubz is back. However, In the midst of all the recent activities, I've forgotten to be thankful for that opportunity to have Hubz home during this festive period.
Its not so funny, realising it took me zilch second to gripe and groan... but it was so convenient to forget a heartfelt thanks. Again, my bad.
Thank you, God, from the bottom of this heart.
For making your presence felt, and known.
